Edited one year agoI'd read this was a bad effort, and when I first bought the Sparks Profile compilation it took me a while to warm to it's leadoff track; So Important, so I was sceptical. But once I heard the whole album I couldn't understand where all the hate comes from. The production is thin and the odd song doesn't connect (You Got A Hold Of My Heart). But overall this is an excellent batch of songs. If anything the homemade quality stopped it from getting bogged down in production like the Pulling Rabbits and Music You Can Dance To LPs did.
