Reviews
- They've done a really good job with this one and I should listen to it more, usually when I come to the 'zone' cds I just jump straight into Level 5, which is the only one I actually owned at the time and am quite biased towards that.
CD1 is brilliant, I like 90% of the music on it, and it's pretty much all on theme. Quite a few of the tracks are on the best dance album ever part 5, which I think is a little better than this cd, but only just! There are still enough different tracks to make it a good separate album to own. Yeke Yeke and Welcome To Tomorrow are stand out tracks to me that didn't appear on the other albums, other than the obvious anthems (Call It Love, amazing track along with the others). As I say it's nearly all dance with the expection of a couple...especially the last track 'hoochie bootie' they could have quite happily left that one off!
I didn't find CD2 quite as good as CD1, but it's still all mostly dance music, and I would venture to say that it's a little more 'mature'. A little more underground whilst not taking it too boring or dee, it's certainly more housey for the most part. Lots of tracks that didn't make it to other commercial dnace compilations. All in all a really good variety.
My ratings system:
407 out of 500 - an easy four star!
