Sleeve lists "Remix Version" and label carries a "Remixed by" credit but it's the same 7" version that appears everywhere else. Most likely, the album version was indeed remixed for the single by Nigel Gray but most releases don't credit him.

Reviews
- It seems ironic that these experimental art-rockers would release a single like "Cry" considering they left 10cc because the other half was getting too commercial. Perhaps the lyrics are more poetic than something like "The Things We Do For Love," but at it's core this track is well-produced infectious pop. They'd continue down this more accessible path with their next (and last) album "Goodbye Blue Sky." This pressing sounds nice, but beware it is on polystyrene rather than vinyl.
