There are some interesting tracks on this compilation, but most of it is not really relevant. If you think that the mixture of EBM and Techno was something special that came out of the new millennium, then you missed something. It all began back in the late '80s and early '90s with acts such as Code Assault (Action!!), Techno Bert (Neue Dimensionen), 236 (Jingo), Cybex Factor (Die Schöpfung), !Bang Elektronika (Aktivierung!), Overgament (Metasm), and maybe stuff like Digital Poodle (Free Men). OFF's "Be My Dream", released in 1988, could be one of the first tracks in this "genre".
