THE FREAKS BELIEVE IN BEATS sees Überzone engage much more in uptempo breaks, with his general twistiness for good measure. "The Freaks" plays with chopped up vocals, while "Believe" takes the tempo down a notch, but substituting instead some solid acid work, and "The Beats" amplifies this. And when the tribal drums throw down on "The Freaks (Gettin' Tribal Mix)," it gives the track a new texture to work with, while "On Beats" slows things down even further. It's not just the freaks who believe in these beats.
