Dylan & Facs* – 20th Century Dust EP

Mindwalk was always the one for me.The pensive chords and metallic beats of the brooding intro are already sufficiently fear inducing. That is, until the arrival of the cutting amen scythe and richter scale sub bass onslaught. However, the full devastating extent, of an atmosphere, already plunged into darkness, is unrealised until the final twist, when the apocalyptic sounds are unleashed, ensuring total blackout.

I used to play this out quite regularly and it either scared the dancefloor away or had them dancing as if they were possessed and frothing at the mouth like a pack of rabid dogs.

Very strong EP, as others have already said - if I had to pick a side, it would be almost definitely side C though. Might be an odd sidenote to leave on this release, but it would have been great if someone mashed up Bad Company's Spacewalk and Dylan & B-Key's Mindwalk. These two tunes were released within like a month or so back in the year 2000.

Hands down one of the best Albums of 2000! Not one bad track on the 4 sides.

This is one of the heaviest pieces of drum and bass you will ever here-Period.

It subtly builds and builds into this monolithic marching monster, giving visions of soldiers marching to war in tune to the heavy kick and razor sharp snare.

It never sounds old-even after 10 years, with each listen it gets better and better.

EDIT-I forgot to say, the louder you turn this up, the better it sounds-BUT YOUR NEIGHBORS WONT BE HAPPY :-)
