- This tune is quite special to me, it was one of the last proper D&B tunes I bought on vinyl before I eventually left the scene (took almost a year break due to getting far too mash up) But you could easily drop this at any messy Neurofunk event and the crowd would go mental!
- Edited 4 years agoGladiator the movie springs to mind when listening to this Maximus tune... I give this record the thumbs up as it will never die... And Sanity? It smashes your brain in! That sound that kicks in reminds me of Jack Smooth's early productions! Lovely ;)
- Whatever you do. Don't ever listen to Maximus with your headphones. if you do then say goodbye to your eardrums! Incredible earthquake like basslines.
- Edited 16 years ago'Maximus' is a classic Dom 'Amen & Reece' smasher and a must for fans. It begins with epic chords and slowly moves into some nice timpani drums before the tune is unleashed! Klute is also on production duties here but it all sounds like Dom.
There is nothing original here but if you like hard drum & bass with earthquake reece basslines, then this is for you.
