- Please. Please repress. If anyone knows anything. Please @ me. Otherwise, I’m gonna have to buy one of these $500+ pressings when I get extra dough.
- Hi guys, would anyone consider selling a copy? Based in the UK here. Will consider parting with some sensible money for a nice copy
- Judging by the number of copies registered here (456 as of 24/8/23), the 488 limited edition claim seems out of whack. More likely 1000.
- All kinds of official merchandise (for this group, for Kings of Convenience, for Erlend Øye…) on say-yes in Italy but no intentions to repress, they don’t even bother to answer an e-mail… Perhaps if they received 1000s of mails, they finally respond to someone. But I think I know this country too well…
https://say-yes.eu - Fantastic overall package. The jacket is amazing. The glossy finish as well as the embossed lettering make it feel like it's real quality. The gatefold art looks fantastic. The record itself sounds great too. My old copy had a few scratches, but still sounded lovely.
- I feel incredibly privileged to own one of the original embossed sleeve pressings. I play it once a month front to back. There is not a song in it that isn’t musical genius. I feel humbled to own it.
- I wonder if anyone thought about why this record came in such a limited release......Well, one of the band members told me that it was basically impossible to set up the embossing with the thin black line around the font on the cover... so they could only manage to get 488 perfect and decided that is it!
- Hey everyone, the band announced yesterday that they are back together. "We had a rehearsal in Erlend's backyard playing the songs from Dreams and Rules. Suddenly it seemed like a good idea to go somewhere, preferably somewhere far away, and do a concert or two to celebrate how good those albums were." With that in mind, maybe a reissue of Dreams on vinyl isn't far away...
- Edited 5 years agoIs there a reissue of this coming soon? Seen an unusual number listed for sale over the past week (seven to be precise), which is generally a sure sign that scalpers know the game is up and want to cash in before people cotton on.
- This is something unique. It's not a compilation. It's a milestone. The group went into discussion, eventually split and gone it was. They weren't one hit wonders, they were simply musical geniouses who on their own perhaps didn't form a team but what a performance they have shown in this album. It's lounge magical pop music. One of a kind. If you come accross a copy buy at sight. The packaging on it's own has that little magical touch. Not a single mediocre song on this. An album you can put on once a week every day.
