NYC Sound Systems
Born in Poland, grew up listening to Polish Punk (piersi, wanka wstanka and de ludojades, armia, big cyc, dr. hakenbusz itp.),Death Metal (Death, Kreator, Sepultura, Damage, Testament, , S.O.D, D.R.I. etc)..., ever present early electronic music through my dad (jean michael jarre, kitaro, ELO etc etc...). Shipped off to U.S. (leczenie klimatyczne) 15 yrs ago... i figured out the language... then developed a strong taste for muzik with out language in it... at all... after "visiting" some NYC clubs in mid 90's, hardcore tekno found me, through mix tapes (Nickey Fingers, Delta9, Tron, Deadly Buddah, Nevermind, etc..) and those tiny black and white outlaw flyers... i followed beatz and by 98 i was married to a hardcore mosh pit queen...
Found myself stuck to a couch and rebirth... followed by fruity loops... than technics... quickly developing a serious wax habbit...
My sound developed firstly with four on the floor industrial hardcore (traffik, speedy q's, laurent ho, producer, homicide, armaget nad, bloody fist etc...) breaks (dhr, somatic responses, c. fringili, etc...)and noise (zipper spy, nihilist, dhr, digital hut etc...) were next in line and have remained prominent to my sound to this day... as I dug deeper... I started running into sounds of tribal tekno and acid, which i first experienced in 97 at a Blackkat party during the SP23 US tour...
In the late 90's Renegade Virus rocked NYC outlaws with ALL of these sounds... accomplices being Blackkat and Havoc Sounds... weve had the pleasure of meeting with the minds of many artists who include: Laura Grabb, Metek Sound System, Simon Underground, KKtus Tribe, Zipperspy (come back Maria!), Radium, Lenny Dee, Adam X, Heartworm, DJ Hamy, 5lowershop crew, Otherworld, SPAZZ, Alt.Mtl, Maskinn, Pascal, Fran6, Duran Duran Duran, Madame Chao, Optic, Insect Deli, Neurotik Sound System, Pink Sox, Freetekno Toronto, Zone33, Banditos, and many others... each encounter leaving a lasting impression and in doing so shaping my style...
I am a devoted advocate for all beautiful muzik... from speedcore to ambient noise through the entire electronic spectrum...
I got this little pirate distro called waxworks, always networking; and I actively contribute to organizing events in the North East. (wanna jam?)
Mad Respect to:
La Peste,I:gor,C.Fringili,Speedy Q's,Traffik,Spliff Monk, Soulatterre/UHT,SP23, MononoM,Metek,FKY,widerstand, low rez, zod, digital hut, ambush, capsule corp, TOOLBOX, Laura Grabb,Slepcy,Cdatakill, exillon, antistatik,Infrabass, Heretik, Praxis, V.Snares, Optic, armaguet nad, ONU, Mouse and No Name, Fishkopf... for years of intense madness...

Auto-Psy - Necrophage - 30-Oct-08 12:29 PM
This is definitely one of the records that I could just listen to in its entirety. Each track takes you on an immense journey through noise, industrious onslaught of clings and clangs… growing and constantly changing. Fast, vicious, brutal and absolutely beautiful – a perfect blend of beauty and the beast. Imagine if you will a murderous maniac with rusty cleavers cutting up your mind to itsy bitsy little pieces, each carefully carved and saved in small piles just to be put together again in a stunning display of artistic genius right inside of your cranium! Machinegun kicks metal against metal, compactors crushing everything around you just to rebuild it in a post apocalyptic world filled with empty destroyed cities darkened skies and sewers filled with humanoid waste. Simply awesome!
SpeedyQ's - Untitled - 01-Jun-08 09:51 AM
No More Yin is probably on my top 10 hardcore trax of all time. This is a gem, one of SpeedyQ's strongest releases. All tracks underlined with insanely powerful and loud kicks that shake the foundation of any and every venue. Inudstrial, hard and clean. Each track starting off really nice and smooth, allowing the DJ to bring it in for a nice drop. Once there, the cacophony and onslaught of kicks is released. "Did you get that?"
Penik Ettek - We Kill You First E.P. - 01-Jun-08 09:41 AM
ABOLUTE BOMB for anyone into the early acidcore and hardcore! This has Drop Bass all over it. Heavy kicks and sick raw 303 lines, simple but powerful. Industrious, hard, raw and full of energy. Goes perfectly with pretty much the entire spectrum of the free party sub genres. Acid, Hardcore and tribe... perfect mid tempo, very clean and full sounds. Amazing tool and a great way to pick p the pace at any party.
FKY - Rebus 06 - 01-Jun-08 09:38 AM
FKY puts out yet another dance floor bomb. Light kicks spiced with the very unique to FKY sequence of hats, snares and melodic sounds of tribe. Melodies that at times turn into songs where you can almost lose yourself and can swear to hear the lyrics. Each track is a tribe story in itself, very strong release as usual extremely original and dj friendly. Perfect build ups and drops, a definite party favorite.

Tamahata - Untitled - 01-Jun-08 09:33 AM
Awesome sound of the industrial hardcore interlaced with intricate acid lines with heavy deep bass. Each track completely different than the other, the vibe changes dramatically going from hard pounding industrial tekno right through a marathon hardcore track running on some distorted gabba kicks... but not cheesy. Very driving and pushing music, not something that you could sit to. In style it resembles the early Homicide and Hangars Liquides but more collected and clean, with focus mostly on the motion and rhythm.
