One for the underground. Solid production and not played at many of the bigger events. More of a three a.m. on pirate radio sound. I like it a lot.

Is this really a 'proper copy' or an unauthorised / snidey one?

Not that fussed, just curious...it's over twenty-six years old now so I wouldn't blame anyone for doing a bit of 'DIY'.

The Danny Breaks and Andy C mix may be the best of the bunch. Woefully underplayed at the time of release which, for me anyway, only added to its legend.

A great piece of music that sound just as good twenty-five years on.

Pick up any of these on sight. Art on wax and love blasting them out to this day. Real music from a truly great era.

Awful sample...which totally ruins the released versions. Roger Johnson remixed it (which is handy if you know him).

Seconded. And well said. Brockie laying this down on a Sunday night raw and pure.

And another thing...Bukem? Boring? Never. Class act who tore it up at Fabric last month.

Got an old Ron tape (Kool FM) with the 'Rastafari' track on. From about July 93. That's as early as I heard it played...and I didn't miss much back then!

Fair play chap, I reviewed Yaman 11, but what I put there is equally relevant to all Bukem's Yaman mixes (although I'm not convinced vol 12 was mixed by Bukem...no fireworks or obscure tunes that only him and DJ Trace seemed to possess).

Easily the... See full review

If you're looking for milestones of drum & bass (or whatever moniker you want to go with) Bukem's Yaman sets deliver time and again. Each mix borders on perfection in terms of where it takes the set next and LTJ's trademark 'cutting in' (when... See full review
