I don’t know how this title got mislabeled as a 2 lp set on Discogs, but it is definitely a 3 lp set pressed on beautiful marbled gold vinyl, which I have posted above in the images section for this particular release.

This is the only Japan solo single from any of the members of The Who that comes with a proper Polydor flip back sleeve. All of the other Japan Who solo releases only come with a single sheet insert.

Recorded by the legendary taper Mike “The Mic” Millard, this is the very best sounding recording to emerge so far from The Who’s entire 1980 tour.

It is worth noting that the Live At Leeds album was released in both stereo AND mono in Colombia.

To have the absolute correct UK Decca dotted inner sleeve for the very first pressing, it must be the Variant 3a inner with “125 Made In England” on the bottom left hand side of the front, which shows the sleeve is dated for December 1965.

This was sold in India on three separate single albums (parts 1, 2, & 3) and I believe there should be a separate listing for each of the three albums here at Discogs. I have the 2nd lp (the blue cover), which contains the song by The Who on it....

The Polydor label version is also available in the U.S. at the Target stores and it is a mix of mono & stereo.

As far as pure quality goes, this is one of the nicest Who sleeves I’ve ever collected. It’s a fully laminated front & back glossy cardboard sleeve. This is the only 7” release for the individual song ‘A Quick One’.

Just added this scarce Japan white label promo & picture sleeve to my collection. I’ve added a picture of my white label promo record above. In my opinion, ‘The Last Time’ Japan sleeve is the most difficult Japan Who sleeve to find these days.

You are incorrect. This is the Japan white label promo ps single for ‘Let’s See Action’, not a release from Thailand.

Probably your copy came to you at an inexpensive price because it was missing all of the inserts & glassine grease proof bag. It does sound like that you have the original cover & vinyl, though.

The 2nd 1966 German pressing has the exact same cover/sleeve as the German first pressing with the Polydor International logo in the upper right corner, but the actual record label for the 2nd pressing has a red Polydor label instead of the black...

It is worth noting that if your OBI strip has a small circle at the top with the number 75 inside of the circle, you have a 1975 reissue, not a 1969 first issue.

It’s also worth noting that in 1966 Italy also released ‘The Who’ lp with the same cover as the 1966 German ‘The Who’ lp first pressing cover with the black Polydor International logo on the front and is even harder to find a copy of than the 1966...

The Argentinian released sleeve is gorgeous! It has a totally different front cover, different rear cover, and different beautiful pictures from the movie on the inside gatefold. Would be a great addition to any Who collector’s vinyl collection.

In 1998, it was announced in various music publications that there would be a release of The Who’s entire Philadelphia 1973 concert, which had been newly remixed & remastered by KBFH. Unfortunately, the release was scrapped at the last minute in 1999....
