Maybe one of the more slept on reissues of last year. Really great combination of 'out' sounds and rhythm. 4 stars for somewhat noisy vinyl.

I also got a flawed copy of this very nice sounding album; odd pops here and there and a full 5 minutes on side 2 where the vinyl is visibly, very badly scuffed right out of the shrink-wrap. I wanna take a chance on another copy, it's such lovely...

And that's why there is no accounting for taste. I love this record from start to finish and think it is some fine improvisation-which is often 'detached' to at least some degree. 'Scattered' and loose is, I think, a large part of part of the point...

Pressing is noisy as all get out, especially throughout side 1. It completely ruins the music. At this point, I think I'm done with colored vinyl.

A really great blend of styles and influences and, as previously stated, a real head nodder-just so solid all the way through. At times a tad psychedelic even. So far, jazz album of the year for me.
