American rhythm & blues singer, who recorded for Mercury in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1949 and 1953.
She was married to comedian/actor/singer Lolly-Pop Jones and so was sometimes called "The Lollipop Mama" or "Miss Lollypop" or "Alma Lollypop".
She appeared with him in the movie Midnight Menace (1946), in which Lollypop sang "Honeysuckle Rose" and "Don't Sell My Monkey Baby" (with Alma playing piano on both and singing duet on the latter).
