Stiftung Deutsche Kinemathek

Deutsche Kinemathek is a German film archive and operator of the Museum of Film and Television Berlin.

Founded in 1963 as a service club, restructured to a foundation in 1971.
Founded the Filmmuseum Berlin (Museum of Film Berlin) in 2000, which was extended to Museum für Film und Fernsehen (Museum of Film and Television) in 2006.
Renamed to Deutsche Kinemathek – Museum für Film und Fernsehen in June 2006
