Profile:

Jamaican tenor saxophonist, clarinetist, and bandleader, born c. 1900 in Jamaica, died after 1954.
Moved to Great Britain c. 1924, played with dance bands there and in Europe until early 1930s. In the 1940s he worked mainly with Cyril Blake and also with Jiver Hutchinson (1944-1945). He recorded with Rex Stewart in Berlin in 1948, and again performed as a bandleader in London 1952-1954.
