Carlo Giuseppe Toeschi

Italian born violinist, music director and composer and important protagonist of the "Mannheim school". The son of composer and violinist Alessandro Toeschi, he was baptised on 11 November 1731 at Ludwigsburg, and died 12 April 1788 in Munich. His name has been anglicised/germanified to Carl Joseph Toeschi and Karl Joseph Toeschi, but his name is most commonly given as the original Carlo Giuseppe Toeschi.
