Few musicians put forth a vision as clear, focused and unmistakably original as that of Diego Manuschevich. Hailing from Santiago, the saxophonist, clarinetist and composer has carved out a niche for himself at the forefront of Chile’s jazz and experimental music scenes. Manuschevich has long created music deeply rooted in the bop, post-bop and early free jazz traditions, while developing his own abstract, dense and complex musical lexicon.
