Died December 7, 2018.
Hayden was a cousin of Captain Beefheart and joined Beefheart's Magic Band in 1969 on bass clarinet. He & Pamela Des Barres (of the GTOs) were closely linked after meeting at high school. He features in her 1986 book and in her film "I'm With The Band".
