US record company that was established in November 1974. The company handled the manufacturing and distribution of its namesake label Arista Records, as well as other labels it owned and licensed. Following the merger of BMG with Sony Music Entertainment, the company closed doors in July 2004 and its labels were moved under the RCA Music Group.
