Track A5 (Pieczęć - The Seal) is not skipping. It is recorded in that extreme and weird way.
Please compare with the official audio by Polskie Nagrania: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nf1G1Y8LkJA&list=OLAK5uy_mb-yN4l4qrVJw4KwrTVuU_nRjYwee5OsY
Also, the ending for that track might feel like there's stuck groove...
I have double checked it with a vinyl rip I have found on the net - same conclusion. - Edited 11 years agoCzeslaw Niemen is hardly obscure in his native Poland. In fact he's a star there. Actually I should be saying "was" since I am fully aware of his unfortunate passing in 2004. Every time I ran into someone from Poland and I bring him up, they know exactly who I'm talking about. There's a bust of him in some park (I guess in Warsaw). There were even Czeslaw Niemen commemorative coins made available there. He's really had an eclectic career to say the least. N.AE. was mainly his fusion-oriented project, but this second release under that release was essentially a Czeslaw Niemen solo album with no outside help. This one veers much closer to avant garde. Lots of spacy effects produced off the Minimoog and EMS Synthi A. Even when he gets funky there's an avant garde feel to it that you won't mistake for Sly & the Family Stone or Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" or "Higher Ground". Plus this album also includes some of the more raw, in your face Mellotron ever, coming from a country that did not have too many Mellotrons (there are many countries not to have the Mellotron available, it's safe to say you won't find any in Kenya). I'm often surprised to find some interesting and great music coming from countries with repressive governments (communist countries east of the Iron Curtain, Apartheid in South Africa, right-wing dictatorships in Latin America, Spain under Franco), and this is a great example. It's hard to believe that for a guy so famous in Poland that he was allowed to do such experimental albums as this.
