Galahad – Battle Scars

Battle Scars continues along the trajectory established by Empires Never Last, a darker and heavier Galahad playing anthemic neo-prog, with touches of electronica and classical arrangements expanding their sound. For better or worse, several of the original neo-prog bands have made concessions to prog-metal, though Battle Scars is not a metal album. Like its predecessor, Battle Scars was recorded, engineered, and mixed by Karl Groom (Threshold) at Thin Ice Studios, so the shift toward the huge Arena and Threshold sound is not surprising. A new recording of the Galahad classic song Sleepers is included as a bonus track.

It's only taken 27 years but at last Galahad have now released an album on vinyl LP for the first time in their long history!
Released in conjunction with Ritual Echo Records, this beautiful package, comes on heavy premium quality 180 gram vinyl in a classic gatefold cover.

Each vinyl LP comes complete with a CD version of the full album, which includes the bonus track 'Sleepers 2012', in a simple clear plastic wallet plus a free Galahad logo car sticker.
