Staffan Linzatti – The Silent Dreamers

Brilliant, lucid space techno with a few haunting ambient interludes. Staffan Linzatti has clearly been growing up in the outer settlements of the asteroid techno belt that Jeff Mills has been colonising over the last 30 years. It's very satisfying to finally see him set base on Planet Axis Prime. Here comes together what has been belonging together for quite some time now.
While treating the maestro's sound with the utmost respect, Staffan clearly makes it his own and adds some surprising twists, turns and ideosyncrasies that make The Silent Dreamers a fresh listen from beginning to end. A wonderful soundtrack to a sci-fi movie we now have to dream up ourselves.

Would love to have this on vinyl, at least some of the more club-friendly tracks like Inner Space, Conscious Retrieval, Memory Consolidation or The Chase.
