I have been collecting for over 40 years, predominantly 60s/70s/80s soul, Disco, Funk & Jazz. As well as House, Garage, Balearic, Rave, Jungle, DnB etc...
I am now selling of a part of my collection so most records are in the VG to N Mint bracket to look at, but more important is how they sound.
I have given this a lot of thought on how to grade the records so that you can order from me knowing the record is as you want. So I have graded as follows:-
MINT : Brand New or Unplayed
NEAR MINT- Been played may have light crackles in quiet areas / may show slight signs of wear on vinyl under a bright light but will look mint to the naked eye
VERY GOOD+ Will have low level crackles in intros & quiet areas
Light Surface scratches that don't affect sound
VERY GOOD Will Have crackles in intros / outros / quiet areas / the odd pop
Surface scratches will affect sound
GOOD+ Vinyl looks tired, Will Have noticeable crackles & pops
Heavier Scratches to the Surface that will affect sound
GOOD Vinyl Looks Worn but plays without Jumping or Skipping
Heavier Scratches to the Surface scratches will affect sound possible clicks
FAIR Looks Battered But plays without Jumping or Skipping
Will Have noticeable loud crackles in intros / outros / quiet areas / and loud pops
Will have Angel hair or sleeve scuff marks , Heavier Scratches to the Surface
scratches will affect sound & clicks
POOR Looks like it should be melted down but still plays.
Possible Jumping & Skipping but hopefully should play through
Will Have noticeable loud crackles pops & clicks
Heavier Scratches to the Surface


I visually grade most records but before I send out any order, I always double check my grading and If the record is over £30 or I notice a mark missed when originally grading, I normally give a sound check to ensure you will be happy and will email to give you the option to cancel your order or a discount could be agreed. I will never intentionally grade wrong so if there is a problem please email to sort out.

POSTAGE TERMS
PLEASE NOTE FOR ORDERS FOR THE EU the total must be a minimum of £2.50,
FOR ORDERS OUTSIDE THE EU the total must be a minimum of £3.00
FOR ORDERS TO THE USA the total must be a minimum of £5.00
or a surcharge will be added to postage up to the minimum order value.
Buyer pays shipping costs.
Please note I always send by the cheapest option available
When sending abroad Double lps or single lps with gatefold sleeves may cost more to send due to weight.
All multiple orders are weighed before any shipping price is given. Please also be advised all records sent with stiffeners and well packed.

Please Note that all prices quoted are exactly what the Post Office Charges for 1st Class Deliveries, I can send 2nd Class if you want to save money. Also exact cost charged by the Post Office for International parcels.
PLEASE NOTE I add a Flat Packaging Rate of £1.00 for any size order. Corrugated Mailers & Stiffners, tape, paper & printing ink, taking to post office all cost. Weight of packaging is added to quoted post cost.

LOST PARCELS
Parcels to the UK and EU Zone 1 seem to arrive ok with only the occasional loss, ROW a few more go missing. If you have not selected a signed for option I will not refund for lost parcels, however I will make a claim at the Post Office. If I am reimbursed I will pass on a full refund. Please note, getting a refund takes ages so expect a long wait if I am making a claim.
If your parcel is a ROW delivery, I highly recommend that you use Int’l Signed for Delivery Option to guarantee delivery.

Standard Postal Prices up to 2KG (approx 7 records)
1st record charge per pack of 7 records.
For bulk orders 10 or more I will quote at time of order.
EU Countries in Zone 2 please apply R.O.W prices

If value is over £20 all records will have to be sent by a signed for service.

I will offer the best rates possible and and will send price for delivery when I receive the order

PAYMENT TO BE RECEIVED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF INITIAL ORDER DATE (unless an agreement is made) OTHERWISE THE ORDER WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED.
Please note that if record is sent by standard post I will not be responsible for lost parcels. When a record/s fail to arrive, I will be happy to make a claim on your behalf at the Post Office but will not refund payment until I have received the refund payment.

REFUNDS
If I have made a grading error based on my Gradings and a buyer is unhappy and wishes to return I will refund original postage and return postage if the record or records / CDs are returned to me in the same condition as sent.
If a buyer wishes to return an item but it it is graded correctly based on my gradings I will only refund the cost of the Item and not the associated postage costs.
