- The epitome of ambient Jungle. Incredible pads, incredible synths, and eery vocals. Doesn’t get much better.
- just come across this song for the first time while going through a large collection of 90s jungle and hardcore 12's ive just picked up,i came across this track on the jumpin pumpin jungle tekno vol 5 lp
killer track - Edited 8 years ago@ basementphil thanks for your info, and thanks for confirming the dub/acetate i have is of this tune above.....respect :)
nb : after listening my dubplate has no big string or the female vocal and is a little ruffer !! - Released on Mystic Moods 'The Journey Part 1' http://www.discogs.com/master/view/250184
- i seriously LOVE this track.. simple yet timeless. this is what was unique in those early days of dnb.
- Edited 11 years agoThis record came about after I remixed Flying with Jack Smooth, but wasn't able to get the exact sound that I wanted. LTJ Bukem liked the remix but agreed it needed another mix. So I suggested I remix it at his studio, which Danny was more than happy to do.
I took the samples to Dannys Studio and I remixed it again with his help. So the 'Brothers With Soul' tag refers to Jack Smooth, LTJ Bukem and myself Basement Phil.
The track was actually written in 1994, but due to various reasons, the release was held back.
This Test Press was Limited to only 50.
It was officially released on the Mystic Moods EP 'The Journey Part 1'.
