Wonderful cd and Wonderful vinyl edition too.
    Remaster perfect.
Heathen and toy are the best album studio of David Bowie of 1983 to 2016.Heathen is the best and toy second place.

A very interesting release indeed and one no true fan should be without - despite the sources being from mp3 - and it's a shame that label politics prevented it's release (according to the sleeve notes Virgin were less than keen on releasing an album full of stuff they did not own the rights to, which does not sound right to me but I guess that until someone who was involved spills the beans we will never know).
A fair amount of the material has found it's way to the light of day:
"Afraid" was on the Heathen album, "Conversation Piece", "Shadow Man", "Baby Loves That Way" & "You've Got A Habit Of Leaving" all turned up on various CD singles as well as the bonus disc for "Heathen" in the 10-CD Box Set. In addition, "Uncle Arthur" was re-recorded as "Slip Away", "Toy" was retitled as "Your Turn to Drive" and along with "Shadow Man" & "Let Me Sleep Beside You" turned up on the 3CD edition of 2014's "Nothing Has Changed" compilation set so in the end we got most of it. We think. Being a leaked album, it is highly possible the version that actually leaked is different to the one that may have been released although of course we will never know.

The package as it stands is as usual very well done in a triple gatefold card sleeve with extensive notes and a lot of high quality images as well.

      8/10 and highly recommended
