One of my favorite Jimmy Smith trio albums. Starts off solid with a rollicking version of "When Johnny Comes Marching Home", I love their take on "A Night In Tunisia", and the lone original, "Alfredo", ends the record with a bang. My copy is an original 1960 Plastylite stereo pressing, and it sounds fine, with plenty of bass, a very full-bodied organ sound, and crisp, clear drums and guitar. The vinyl has some light surface noise, a skip on the first song, and a couple of skips on side two.referencing Crazy! Baby (LP, Album, Repress, Mono) 4030
Got exatly this reissue with deep groove on side 1 & non deep groove on side 2. Common thing back in those days of Blue Note Records - things were used as available.referencing Crazy! Baby (LP, Album, Stereo, DMM) BST 84030
The vinly sounds dynamic & lively.
Digitally remastered blue note classic album.- I have the 1966 press. The inner sleeve celebrates Blue Note 27 Years 1939-1966. It had New York on the label and RVG STEREO stamped on the runouts. Just like the 66 press of his Back at the Chicken Shack album. The information here is wrong and must be for a later press. Blue note ´66 has New York on label and RVG stamp.

I have this but with blue text on the cover. Or I have one of those versions but my version has 47 West 63rd on the centre label like this.
