Reviews
- I know some people are weary of the green label Impulse reissues, but I've had pretty good luck so far. This one is absolutely beautiful sounding. Compared it back to back to the original stereo and it really holds up. It's a tiny bit less "hard" (not loud, just harder in texture, and I assume this difference is because of the smaller weight and slightly different composition of the disc), which I prefer, as Coltrane's sound is already immensely dense. In terms of definition, there is very little difference, if any. Killer repress, if you're looking to spend a lot less.
