- Edited 7 years agoCrush on You & Not Tonight single versions were remixed. Crush on You actually doesn't have Kim on the track at all. The single version does however. I read somewhere that she wasn't on the album Version because she took a break, but when the single Version (Remix) was released she recorded her vocals. Not Tonight remix is really the only actual remix single because the instrumental is reworked / Remixed & has Da Brat, Missy Elliot, Angie Martinez & Lisa "Life Eye" Loops. I know on future pressings it had the remix of not tonight as a bonus track. The Not Tonight Remix is almost a completely different song from the album version. I believe the lyrics are not the same at all, so I'm kinda confused as to why it was titled as a remix, but I think both versions are great. The remix was done for the nothing to loose soundtrack. She ended up releasing it as a single & it had some B-sides on it & remixes. Nothing special besides the instrumentals because the B-sides were album versions & crush on you had the remix/single version with Kim's vocals on it.
