Notes
Made in Holland
Never released because the single was cancelled at the last minute. All of the pressings of "Smile" (both CD maxi-singles and 12" records) were withdrawn and destroyed just days before the release date, save a few that managed to escape, making this one of the most rare MJ collectors items of all time.

Reviews
- According to information from Hector Barjot (Great MJ collector): "I assure you the Smile was realesed in 97! The maxi 12 was sold in store during 2/3 days".....not 1998!
- Edited 6 years agoThere are 3 important details that will prove fake from authentic.
1. The "MICHAEL JACKSON SMILE" red text on front should be clear and not pixelated at all, the color is "faded red".
2. The barcode on the back of the sleeve should be CLEAR, and NOT pixelated at all
3. The most important: The label shall have 2 "rings", because the original labels are melted on the disc, the counterfeit has one ring and you can easily see that it is GLUED, not MELTED on. And the text is not crystal clear as a original Epic/Sony label!
BE AWARE!!!!!!!! - Beware of fakes!!...These 12 inches excists with a copied label that has been glued on too the record. I have seen one selling on a fair a few years ago.
