Don't bother purchasing the whole of this release. All 3 tracks are sourced from vinyl. If you are looking for proper digitally-sourced files of tracks 1 and 2 then download this release instead. https://www.discogs.com/release/6974445-Hybrid-Fall-Out-Of-Love
Unfortuately track 3 (Gates Of Sean Mix) is not on any other digital release.

Despite some of them not ageing particularly well, I do love these early Hybrid productions. Some may argue that this one has not aged well either, I would respectfully disagree on this however, although I fully acknowledge that I do have a deep love of old skool rave sounds, so my judgement may be compromised on this :).

The thing I love about these early works by Hybrid is that they were all about having fun. Serious fun.
All delivered on a solid bed of awesome production, tantalising builds, ecstatic drops and uplifting melodies. First and foremost, this is music for the dancefloor, unashamedly so. The influence of the surrounding period is still distinguishable in these tracks, that spirit of early 90's rave music, elements of mid 90's happy house, and yet still providing a sneak peak at the production values and musical styles that Hybrid would further go on to becoming pivotal in developing. I also like that you can still here the influence of this period in some of there most recent works, that same happy enthusiasm - such as their Soundsystem dub of "Blind Side".

In particular with 'Fall Out Of Love" however it's the vocals by Andreas Carlsson that are of peculiar interest as, to my ears at least, they are so extremely androgynous in quality. I feel there's something remarkably unifying to the listening audience about not assigning a gender to the voice you are listening to.

Oh this release is all about how uplifting the (Charging Piano Mix) is. A wicked Feel Good track, Pumping from the minute the Needle hits that Groove.
I'm not much of a Vocal person when it comes to Dance music but this is defiantly an exception, the Vocal in this fits perfectly to the beat & with the Piano is proper rush-tastic.

Quite a Happy Cheese element from Hybrid more known for there relaxed more downtempo house but then this is one of their very early releases and was defiantly made & released in a period where this type of house was hitting the charts and dancefloors in the mid 90's.

If you see this for sale & take a punt, you will not be disappointed.

          Hands in the Air stuff!
