Jimpster continues his takeover of the future jazz world with his PERENNIAL PLEASURES EP, chocked full of texture and rhythm. "La-Di-Da" is an ever-morphing track that twinkles with delight, from the glistening synths to the wild funk bass. "Tony Bell" is a slow burning track, with a dreamy, transcendent melody. "Static Dynamic" appears on his MESSAGES FROM THE HUB album. A wonderful introduction to Jimpster's world and the grooviness contained therein. referencing Perennial Pleasures (12", 33 ⅓ RPM) KUD009
Fantastically played and produced 12". The titled track is an incredible piece of music. Where do the live drums begin and sampled ones end? Live bass and guitar. Can't say enough about this 12". Some tracks later compiled on MESSAGES FROM THE HUB.
