I kind of wish they never added vocals to their music.

I know these guys are pretty serious about trying to create a deep soundscape, with a rich variety of timbres, but this album just isn't very catchy, unless you listen to it at max volume. Apart from the ping pong, I don't really detect much that hasn't been turned into electronic mashed potatoes *(although I do like the way the ping pong sound mutates over a few tracks). Seems like the main innovation this time around is to keep the beats irregular. Well, that's honestly just not very fun to listen to. It's true that the sounds change up every 30 seconds, which has the potential to be interesting, but it just doesn't sound very inspired. Sad to say.
