Boris (3) With Michio Kurihara – Rainbow

This is still available with free international shipping on the inoxia records website. I was holding out for a reasonably priced copy of the standard vinyl edition but people are asking for way more than they have any right to for a second-hand copy on here so I decided to bite the bullet and get this version and it is well worth it! It’s exceptional, the packaging is really beautiful and the sound is exceptional even on my dusty old 90s stereo that I’ve got at the moment. You also get 2 extra tracks on a bonus disc and inoxia records are great to deal with.

So if you’re thinking of paying over the odds for a second hand version of the standard pressing I’d definitely recommend paying that little bit more for this version of you can.

Phenomenal pressing. Sound fantastic. Flat, clean, and love the mix. Grab it with confidence if you can.

"Rafflesia" may be Boris' absolute best track, a masterpiece. Play it at my funeral.

Beautiful packaging, the book in wich the vinyl are stored is one of the sturdiest I've ever seen and it has a really cool holographic effect on the cover. The sound quality is superb with no background noise at all (the vinyl version of the song Rainbow has a different guitar solo that I actually prefer over the digital / cd version). One of my favourite Boris physical releases.

For whatever reason, the guitar solo on the song "Rainbow" is different on this version of the album than on the CD/digital versions.
