    I agree with below, it is so flat and sad and it needs a lot of propping.

      The sound on this is what happens when you put 60 minutes on a 12". Yikes!

        Sound is flat, but the production on the CD was never great. It always lacked details and was a bit muddy.

        Vinyl version is muddy and flat, the bass is there but it just drones.

        Adjusting the EQ helps a little.

          My copy of this version is quite thrashed (many scratches), but none the less seems to be mastered at a very low level. Poor sound quality throughout, practically impossible to listen to.

            Ugh, have had this LP for years (pretty sure I bought it at fat beats), but it just doesn't quite sound right. It's sad how neglected and poorly managed De La's catalog is, because of sample clearances and the fact that they're a hip hop group doesn't help.
