JDA* & Placid K – Hardcore Maniacs

Its all about 'Once Again' for me. Promo spin it on the wheels together with Wayward -Hardcore Hijacked Me at Mysteryland 2019 and always ask my self what is the track name??
After 1.5 years i now finally know that it is 'Once Again'
I always tought it was released somewhere on ISR Records or IST records from Lenny Dee.

The Big Payback is the track to check out on this record, in the same vein as JDA's big hit, Voel Je Die Bass. In both cases, it's the loud booming kickdrum manufactured by JDA that really sticks out, sounds wicked coming out of your speakers! The first synth squeaks along fairly well but the second synth rides across the kickdrum quite effectively. My favourite track by JDA.

At a time when Hardcore was getting quite slow, Hardcore Maniacs is a nice little 180 BPM tune. It has a more Shadowlands vibe to it, but very much owing a lot to T99's Anasthasia. There's not much to say about Once Again, because not much happens. Despite the year 2000 being very difficult for Hardcore, The Big Payback was a beacon of hope that Hardcore Will Never Die.
