- A side of "Pain In My Brain" is a big tough, dirty driving house monster of a track, with a deep rumbling bass, and plenty of energy. Huge sounding tune. On the flip side things calm down with a conventional deep house vibe, again lovely mixes with
- Interesting combo make up Outsider - Justin Drake (from Peace Division fame) and Marvin Beaver (aka breaks / tech house guy Dylan Rhymes) doing dirty mainroom house. The A-side " Pain In My Brain" his was a big tune at the time. I bought it when it first came out, played it, then ended up selling it. Now I acquired another copy in a collection and decided to give it a 2nd go.
A-side still is a stomper, im very familiar with as i played it a bit. It still resonates as a good house tune.
The bonus for this rediscovery is the 2 Swag mixes on the flip! I've always liked Swag and really enjoying finding early releases which have this tougher sound, lots of energy and deep.
