- Edited 2 years agoFlex sure did make some ruff ruff Jungle Techno!
He loved his Techno as sampled Sweet Exorcist! RIP R.H. Kirk x
And Flex was so clever with his beats...
Stumbling and trippy!
- Ralph samples this Hard Trance Acid record from 1993 https://www.discogs.com/Dr-Fernando--Absolutely/master/110916
- Some nice stabs & synths, frantic multi-layered beats and an underlying dark & bassy vibe describe side 1. The initial speech sample (The time has come, the time has come to go out of your mind. Are you ready Ralph? Are you ready) is Dr.Timothy Leary.
Side 2 initially contains a lighter energy, female vocals & beat. Then out of nowhere it breaks down into a dark grinder, synths and a very deep sine wave bass drop. It then once more lifts up and cycles round again, an unusual tune even for this diverse label with one of the most confusing catalogue systems in place. Cool hand flex in dark & loopy mode, a nice release this.
