Just compared this white label here with DJ Clarkee Volume II on Paradox Records and 'I Get Hype' and 'Have a Good Time' are they are the exact same versions. The only difference is that they were speeded up a lot on the Paradox release, both about +6 on the turntable. Which makes sense considering the Clarkee Vol II came out late 92 - I have that info from the handwritten tag by Doc Scott on the label of my copy, I bought it second hand but can tell it´s Scottie´s handwriting as it has his distinctive graffiti tag style, so should be correct. It also make sense when you look at when the tracks appeared first time around: I guess this whitelabel has been around since probably May 92 as Bukem played it as his intro at Dreamscape 5 , then again it could also have been from dubplate, so could be even later, anyone has some in-depth info and can shina light on this? Someone mentioned in the comments below it´s a late 91 tune, from speed and style it could well be, but I guess it was fresh when Bukem played it. But this all explains the massive increase in speed between both pressings as with BPM´s it was just going one direction during 92 - up into the clear blue sky :D

The only extra track here is a crossover between 'I Get Hype' and 'Have A Good Time', a stripped back version of both and the missing joint showing both were made based on the same idea. It starts with the fat subbass that was also used in 'Have a Good Time', then the distinctive break which is used in both tracks kicks in and is joined by the raggamuffin vocal 'Ruffneck Scout - Don Gorgon badboy ' that appears in 'I Get Hype'. It doesn´t have the 'Gotta hang on in there baby have a good time' nor 'I get Hype when I hear Hardcore' vocals but is still a nice tune. I initially bought this version to replace my Clarkee Volume II but since it´s probably handy to have these faster versions I guess I will now keep them both. To anyone looking into buying this I would recommend going with the much cheaper Volume 2 as you get the two important tracks on that and get two more tunes on the flip:

Massive tune this! All 3 tracks smashed back in the day...Have a good time played by Bukem as opening track in his Fantasia set...a hidden gem this!
