- Edited 4 months agoI found this in a record shop, several years ago and bought it, but accidently it had inside 2 copies of the record 2 (sides C & D) , while it was missing record 1 (side A & B). I realized this when i brought it at home and i was completely pissed off.
Revisiting this now, and hearing the mixes, on youtube, i feel now very lucky as the mixes on second vinyl are far superior than the mixes on first vinyl:
C1 Peter Rauhofer's Electrohouse Dub is better than his A1 mix since the vocals on A1 a barely hearable, while replaced on C1 with some great synths making this electrohouse mix complete.
D1 Gabriel & Dresden Dub mix is far better than his B1 mix for the same reason.
D2 Terminalhead Vocal Mix is a wicked acid breakbeat mix far better than B2 Rishi Rich's Punjabi Club Mix). In fact Rishi Rich did his best mix on ''In the zone'' album which i already have it on vinyl, so i am complete with this.
Sometimes bad luck is for the better.
- Great mixes made from a amazing song. The Gabriel & Dresdsen mixes are INCREDIBLE, in both versions, vocals ans instrumental. The cover art is great, and the record is very well produced and great mastered
- Skip all the mixes and head straight for the last 2.
The "Gabriel & Dresden Dub" is wonderfully drifty and yet a deep & pounding track. Britney's vocals are just light whisps in this version. Reminds me of the stuff Sasha & Digweed used to play. Great track for subliminal trance lovers.
On the flip side, the "Terminalhead Vocal Mix" is a sick electro breaks remix. Uber fat pumpin moog bass line rules on this with lots of "boom" bass drops too. Drops a bit of acid in towards the end as well. Gives me that "Florida breaks" vibe.
These are the only Britney Spears tracks that I can put up with!
