Reviews
- Edited 12 years agoThe original album had quite a few vocals, many of which were on the border of pop/cheese. I wasn't a fan of that, and I still am not.
The production quality is good, but not amazing. The original album is superior by virtue of the original's cohesiveness and experimental approach. It makes sense that a remix album cannot be cohesive, though.
If you loved the original, you'll like this one. If you weren't particularly enthusiastic about the original (like myself), this will seem somewhat uninspiring. - Excellent work of art, both the music and the packaging ofcourse! This one will be nursed and treasured in my collection. Must have for a BT fan, but also worthwile for the large collection of extended dj friendly remixes! Musical boundaries are not really pushed though, most remixers deliver quite what you would expect by them. However, some of them do lift the originals to even higher levels of musicality and satisfaction. Tunes that stand out to rock the dancefloor: Funkagenda, Schossow, Mr Sam and Tidy. They know how to blow speakers! It`s hard to beat the multilayered works of art by the master himself.
