- Anyone have the JXS 7016 pressing from 1975? That’s what I’ve got but I can’t seem to find any info on here about it.
- Camels best album of their first quartet of releases, and a shining jewel of what made 70's prog what it was. Always loved the aquatic and airy production on this that can definitely be heard on Peter Bardens moogs, it really makes the sound on this especially on Freefall and The White Rider suite. Earthrise will forever be my favorite instrumental the band ever put out.
- Anyone got some distorsion on vocals in a3? Or could be my turntable setup. Otherwise, it sounds completely amazing. Wonderful album
- It´s just one of those super records we waited for to come home and on with it on the turntable, closed your eyes and just fly away,,,Goood Tiiiimes, never coming back !
- the first 2 camel albums are sent from heaven.
thats from a man who likes black and death metal
now chop chop and listen to em - Some one knows the version with "MR" just over STEREO on the side one ? I think it's an original but I didn't see this before!
Thanks - Disco Essenziale per gli amanti del Rock Progressivo. Melodie e riff di chitarre allo stato dell'arte.
- Edited 4 years agoCamel's "Mirage" is a triumphant prog-rock album! It's their best work and stands the time so well, always reminds me of the golden era of rock music... the musicianship is commendable, the album so dense and layered, it sounds fresh on every listen!!!
