Reviews
- Edited 8 months agoLoved this album when it came out in 1991! I was fresh out on my own, having moved into my first apartment with 2 roommates and the world was ours for the taking. "People Are Still Having Sex" was a massive hit especially in the clubs. Aside from being a perfect social commentary for the time, the music was hypnotic and intoxicating. I was surprised to discover the rest of the album had more than a handful of other excellent tracks! "Allen's Got A New Hi-Fi", "Involved", "Cold", "Laurie Monster" and of course the massive "Blue" are all equally as good as "People Are Still Having Sex". I'm listening to the album now and was prompted to leave a comment on it because it still stands surprisingly strong and enjoyable all these years later. Cool stuff.
