Carmel - Nujazzkiller - 11-Dec-06 08:23 AM
This 12" is a definitiv must-have! Aside Nujazzkiller which is a nice and jazzy uptempo track the thing that makes the vinyl perfect is Harikiri Blues, a slightly dark downtempo breaks track sampling some weird opera voice parts.
G.A.M.M. - 27-Feb-05 01:00 PM
G.A.M.M. is a side-project from DJ Mad Mats who is also the founder of Raw Fusion Recordings. Releases go from soulful stuff over oldskool breaks to jazzy hip-hop tunes. All in all very recommendable stuff which is out of stock quite fast in most cases, as the editions are quite small. So grab them if you see one :)
Red Egyptian Records - 16-Nov-02 03:31 AM
Watch out for the releases on this label. They are very very rare ! By now i just saw one or two 7" from Red Egyptian which were only coverless records without any text or something. Most of the copy are limited to max. 300 and hard to get. By the way, if someone could tell me were to get the Lenny Costanza release of R.E. i would be very greatful.
Various - Electric Mojo - The New Format Jazz Session - 16-Nov-02 03:09 AM
When you see this record somewhere you should definitly get it ! Its out of stock and i had problems to get over 2 years ! If you know michael Sauer whos hosting the famous Electric Mojo nights in the Mojo Club in Hamburg, Germany, you can guess about the quality of this stuff. Its very very great and most of the pieces on this record are very rare and very hard to get by now. Aint nothing but format thang by Hardfloor is one of their first pieces and its a bomb !!! Also the other songs are nice, jazzy minimal electro tunes ... I would say this record would get a A+. ;)
Fluid Ounce - 16-Nov-02 03:03 AM
If you are looking for the complete Fluid Ounce stuff i recommend you to look for the unmeasured compilation. It contains all the tunes which are released on the label yet. Especially Come Party by Zero dB and Harakiri Blues by Carmel are very well known and hard to get by now !
