as good as anything he's done.. dont worry about some reviews writing this lp off, considering it lesser to the unseen... its gold.

some real nice synth moments, and it feels good to hear the rest of some quotes which appeared in previous production... See full review

what a sweet, confident debut delivering a killer swagger. the atmosphere in "pigs fly" is just great. this has to be pressed on vinyl and quick. certainly has a lot of Madlib-esque production here and there, perfectly fine though. some songs have... See full review

intensely eerie ballads. No doubt songwriting comes from a very personal space, making it a very special record for those who fall for it. Solid drumming throughout, last great Placebo album.

some of the most hideous vinyl packaging I have ever laid my eyes/hands on. the picture disc and the choppy graphed, vomit colored nature of it could have been tolerable in a proper sleeve, but oh my, with clear plastic and awkwardly sized artwork... See full review

Truly some of the most infectious indie pop I have heard in a very long time. Granted the lo-fi revival can grow tiresome at times with less than original bands, but this mysterious three piece have created an EP full of sweet harmonies, fuzzy guitars... See full review

probably one of the best winter albums ever..
as with all ESP releases from the era, it is a one take live reccording and a brutally honest one at that. ed askew must have been really inspired at those days, his unique 8 string (or 10) instrument is... See full review

Captivating mix.. slow burner of a start morphes into a fantastic finishing sprint.. after 50th minute it turns on the optimism to maximum effect.. and then cools down with a lullably like track from Marz..

For years this has been the album to let... See full review
