Stevie Ray Vaughan And Double Trouble* - Texas Flood

I will echo others - this is functionally a perfect pressing. Literally dead silent between tracks. I will leave it to others to debate mastering, etc. but the actual pressing is 10/10.

This is a good pressing. Just a small amount of background noise, and a stray pop/click per side. I like the color. I recommend this.

My pressing is good, but not incredible.

The background is quieter than average, but each side has its share of pops/clicks/rumbles. Nothing terrible, and not generally distracting during songs, but this isn't a perfect gem of a pressing - it's a... See full review

I'm disappointed with this pressing. There are moments where it is fairly quiet, but there are way too many pops/clicks/rumbles across all sides, and there are multiple periods of repeating non-fill across the 4 sides, where there is a burst of noise... See full review

My copy is good. A pretty quiet background, and easily drown out by the loud performances. I recommend this.

This pressing is fine. It has its share of surface noise, but generally does not intrude on the songs. A fair amount of pops/clicks. I'd say it's average. No reason to avoid, but not a gem.
Everclear - Sparkle And Fade

My pressing is good. It isn't perfect, but it is really, really good. 8/10. A stray pop/click here or there. A little bit of noise at the very end of both album sides - nitpicky stuff. I recommend this.

I waited a long time to pick these albums up because the original pressings were crap. This pressing is OK, overall. I would said Volume 1 is a 5/10 and Volume 2 is an 8/10.

Volume 1 has its share of pops/clicks/rumbles across all sides, and they... See full review

My second disc is much better than my first disc. The first disc is fairly noisy in my opinion. I've heard worse, but the background noise distracts during the songs at various points. The second disc is good - there is less noise and only... See full review

I'll give a dissenting view. The records look incredible. 10/10 for the looks/packaging.

However, my copy is noisy in places. I have repeating bursts of non-fill in the left channel for the last dozen or so rotations on side 1. There are a few... See full review

My copy is good. Very little surface noise, and what is there is easily drown out by the music. Almost no pops/clicks.

Someone else asked about sibilance on Halftime - Yes, my copy has sibilance on this track.

The background is noisy, as expected for glow in the dark, but I have heard worse and the performances are so loud it generally isn't a problem, in my opinion. You aren't buying this as an audiophile experience, so with that caveat I would say I... See full review

This is a good pressing. There are no gaps between tracks, so it is hard to evaluate background noise, but I can say it isn't an issue. My copy had barely a pop or click across all 4 sides. I recommend this.

I will give a dissenting opinion and say my copy has a decent amount of surface noise. It is of the static/paper ripping sound variety. Noticeable between tracks, but generally drown out by the songs, save for some of the quieter intros and outros. ... See full review

This is a great pressing. My copy borders on dead silent between tracks. A couple minor pops/clicks/rumbles total per side if I am being extremely nitpicky. Mine is very slightly dish warped, almost not worth even mentioning. The color/splatter... See full review

I'm a little disappointed in this pressing. I would say it is a 7/10. But if VMP is going to charge MFSL prices, they are going to get compared to MFSL quality, and this one isn't there. There is minor background noise throughout, which doesn't happen... See full review

This pressing is fine. There are a few pops/clicks per side, a little bit of background noise between tracks. Basically, this is a standard, run of the mill pressing. No reason to avoid it, but also not exceptional.
AC/DC - Back In Black

My copy is a little noisy in spots, not terrible but just a few too many pops/clicks for my liking. This is after a wood glue, so it is inherent to the vinyl. My copy is otherwise flat and centered. Overall, I wouldn't say to avoid this, but it is... See full review

This is a good pressing. I will leave opinions on mastering to the experts, but the pressing is good. Not a dead quiet background, but pretty close. A stray pop/click per side, is all. Flat, centered. Good packaging. I recommend this.
