Emerson, Lake & Palmer - 21st Century Schizoid Rock
posted a review of Emerson, Lake & Palmer - 21st Century Schizoid Rock. 9 months ago
I think I submitted this some years ago and in answer to 1 or 2 questions I have only just seen in the Edit release stuff etc.
I got this LP back in early/mid 1970s and it was incredibly hard to find ,even then.My memory is that maybe only 200/300... See full review

How come Relics is considered a compilation when Biding My Time was never released elsewhere at the time.??
Part of The Man-The Journey suite/idea played during shows in 1969/70 I don't know if it has been added onto any of the numerous box sets... See full review

I met these guys in the mid 1980s when they came to London and tried to breakthrough in the UK .Got quite involved with them and can honestly say that they were every bit as interesting a band as Joy Division,The Cure etc.the kind of bands from the... See full review

Not a big fan of Oasis by any means but I had heard a few tracks off this album before and thought it sounded great.SO I was totally suprised when I read the review below.Gave it another quick listen.Bearing in mind the source of recordings and the... See full review

Well continuing below-5/6 seconds rather than 2 seconds on Side C.But Side D sounds great-the drum solo is really crisp and full on.I do not have a top expensive system but this sounds fine as I have already said.

I read the review below so I decided to check my copy here.I took great care on Side D-sounded perfect-there were clicks on Side C for 2 seconds and a background noise at one point but overall I thought it sounded really decent AND I am going to have... See full review
Pink Floyd - Japan '71 - '72

Completely ridiculous putting the details for a triple Lp made in Japan in 1972-from Osaka/Hakone? 1971 plus Japan 1972-probably Osaka also-and then a stream of single albums and others of completely different sources.By the way the original triple LP... See full review

Had a copy of this record that seems it may be this pressing BUT it sounds crystal clear and really decent. Not my cup of tea musically but doesn't sound like the album reviewed below by others.Maybe its been recut or something as this sounds really good.

That Goats Head in the bowl of soup.I bought it in the late 1970s.It is a big item believe me.I couldn't fit it in my car as the horns made it too wide.Quite light considering the size, a good friend somehow attached it on his bicycle handle bars.

Seems I was right and wrong. It did get into the Top 20 but as late as April 1974.Why it only hit the charts, and presumably was only released as a single,as late as that when the actual track and album it came from were from around 6 months earlier is... See full review

Looking at the history of this single it is deemed to be released in 1974,though the single says 1973.It would not take a great deal of research to check this properly but it very much surprises me that this single is reckoned to have come out in 1974... See full review

There was a 10" bootleg with a 1967-ish sleeve that may have touched on this material but I cannot remember exactly-pretty sure it was on red vinyl.

Possibly not just the yellow label were US Kornyphone-maybe some in black and white- but it's all getting a lot of years ago now!As said-check the run-out matrix for the important info.

Actually a US Kornyphone pressing. The labels were not only used for Sex Pistols BUT also a number of other Kornyphone reissues including Genesis,Led Zeppelin and a couple of others-CHECK the matrix for the ID number-NOT just the label!

This single was counterfeited a year or two later in USA-quite a good copy, the matrix is the giveaway point. Also some of the US copies came shrinkwrapped unlike the UK original.
