Reviews
- Edited 10 years agoGreat record, horrible pressing (I got white/red).
Inner groove distortion becomes very apparent on the second to last track per side, and the last track on both sides, especially Bondi st. Blues, sounds unbearable! Which is a shame since it's one of the best songs on this record. My turntable is a Rega RP1 with an AT95E cartridge and it can play most of my records without any obvious IGD, even ones that have grooves going further into the center than on this record.
This is the worst sounding record I own, and it was bought as new, so there's nothing wrong with the condition either. :(
Edit: After upgrading the cartridge to a AT440Mla, the IGD only really becomes notable on the second half of the last track per side, which makes this record much more listenable :)
