R.E.M. – REMTV

I let this pass me by when it came out but lockdown has got me expanding my music-film collection due to concert withdrawal. The set is excellent, highlights are the unplugged sessions and vh1 storytellers for me but each performance is worth your time. The documentary is great as well and fills in some of the gaps of this set with clips such as Michael's mtv PSAs that I wish were included. The monster and green eras are a bit under-represented but since there are complete films of shows from that era I can forgive that. It does seem that this release would be better served with a comprehensive music video collection (since the "story of r.e.m. and mtv" isn't exactly complete without them) with everything in one place rather than how they've been coming out piecemeal with each 25th anniversary album edition. I think this set was around $80-100 at original retail which is high but with a reissue unlikely it's worth tracking down.
