- Solid EP from Detroit legend Claude Young. Ghost is the standout for me but the dark ambient selections Welcome and Last Moment are also fine examples of Claude’s intricate sound design and ability to effortlessly create intense and emotional electronic music for the club and home listening.
- Edited 2 years agoWhat my Dutch Colleague says is spot on; My 2 cents is that i find: The Numbers an offspring between a Jeff Mills, Mike Parker and a Terrence Dixon track. This kind of deepness is rare i can't really compare it with anything else except the next release on this Delta label by Claude Young: Angelic. Spherical, Sonic Deep Space science-fiction Techno and un-relentless as a raging bull that can't be stopped. It could find a refuge in a Donato Dozzy or a Peter van Hoesen set! Since 2005 Claude is living in Japan and since then his productions have dried up. Claude is one of the perseverance of the Deep. I only wish he would make more tracks like The Numbers and Angelic. One of a kind!
- Mills inspired, deep space techno tracks combined with spherical ambient pieces. A2 and B1 are for the dancefloor, other tracks are for introspection or can be used as complementary for spicing up your set if you have three decks.
