i think i found the original Whuuuu sample on this records, its House Sensation (Magic Juan's Remix).

Another quite obvious sample source is the edited Apache break by the Incredible Bongo Bongo Band. But that's just a little too obvious perhaps.

Even though all these samples are quite basic and the record is sparse in terms of production. All the elements fit together rather well in my opinion. A little bit underrated I think. But there was always going to be stiff competition with several of D-Shake's other behemoths from a similar period and a bit later: Yaaah / Techno Trance, Tekno Bam, East Of Eden, N.U.F.O. (Hardcore Mix) and Adrenalin OD all come to mind.

Was played quite extensively in DJ sets during late 1990 and 1991. A bit of a staple in terms of warming the dancefloor up a bit. Especially when the grindy whirring riff kicks in and the sirens go off on one. Sounded pretty heavy coming out of a massive stack of speakers. The grindy riff was later reused on the Quadromania Mix of The Ya Ya's - Looove. And yes as stated. Titles / versions from this record were most definitely being played from 1990 as it appeared on some UK DJs' sets from the late Autumn of 1990 onwards. This slotted in really nicely during that period I reckon.

Siren sample is taken from "Metal Dance", by SPK https://www.discogs.com/SPK-Metal-Dance/release/436883

What strikes me most on this tune is its obvious resemblance to "Let The Bass Kick" by Egma from the same year:

The two tracks could easily be remixes of another; they make use of similar melodies, broken rhythm, and even the same vocal sample.
